Susan Steen
Chief Executive Officer
Susan Steen was appointed Chief Executive Office of SERVPRO Industries, Inc., in 1995. In her role, she is responsible for SERVPRO’s Strategic Planning process. Sue also oversees the National Marketing and Advertising Program, as well as the National Call Center, Human Resources, and Information Systems Departments. As the eldest child of SERVPRO founders Ted and Doris Isaacson, Sue began working in the SERVPRO System as a teenager. Sue never drifted far from the SERVPRO Family—even when the beginning of her career took her to Boise, Idaho. Sue’s husband, Monty, became a SERVPRO Franchisee in Boise in 1980, and Sue helped Monty with the financial management of the business. Prior to joining SERVPRO Industries, Inc., as the Chief Executive Officer, Sue gained extensive experience with Coopers & Lybrand, a “Big Eight” national accounting firm in Sacramento, Calif. After two years as a staff accountant, Sue was transferred to Boise, Idaho, where she became a partner with Coopers & Lybrand in 1987. Sue managed the Boise office operations from 1990-1995, then accepted the position of CEO of SERVPRO Industries, Inc., where she could pursue her passion of helping small businesses thrive and grow. Mrs. Steen earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting from California State University, Sacramento. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
